meds versus food
A few days ago I had an eye opening experience. I went to my hometown to visit my best friend and as we were wandering through the local super mart, she was telling me about how her husband (who is diabetic) crashed the other night. I asked what caused the situation. She informed me that they did not have the money for his medication. That ain't right!!!!!!!!! No one should ever have to choose between feeding their children and buying life sustaining medication for their husband. On the way home I was praying about this. My own finances were a mess over the years and are on their way to restoration, but a far cry away from being good. I got from being a mess to being on my way by applying Godly principals a little at a time. I am not saying I have arrived, but I feel obligated to maybe share a little of what I have learned in hopes that other people will join in and maybe, just maybe, if we lock our shields of faith together, we can overcome together. This is the first installment in what I hope to be a daily or at least weekly posting. Please feel free to join in. Thank you and I hope to hear your comments.
